Every seven days, someone dies.

Two Atlanta FBI agents are called to investigate a string of brutal murders connected by an unsettling pattern. The victims appear unrelated. The crime scenes offer few answers. There are no reliable witnesses, no clear images of the killer, and no evidence explaining why each person was chosen.

But the clock never stops.

As the agents dig deeper, they uncover secrets buried beneath Atlanta's polished surface-corruption, betrayal, and a darkness that may reach far beyond a single murderer.
