black blue and yellow textile

Langston King

I have always loved mysteries, action, and stories that make you think. One of my favorite parts of a mystery is putting the pieces together, noticing the small details, and trying to figure out the truth before it is revealed.

I am also a data scientist, which connects naturally with the way I approach storytelling. Whether I am working with data or developing a mystery, I enjoy looking for patterns, asking questions, and finding connections that may not be obvious at first.

I wrote The Devil’s Seven because I wanted to create a story filled with suspense, action, strong characters, and a mystery that keeps readers searching for answers. My goal is to write stories that pull readers in, keep them guessing, and make them feel like they are solving the case alongside the characters.

While I am new to writing, my approach to developing a mystery is much like analyzing data: every detail matters, every inconsistency deserves attention, and the answer is often hidden within the pieces everyone else overlooks.
