About the Author

Chris Steiner is a writer at heart who loves stories centered around great characters who grow and evolve as stories go on. For his Cursed Trilogy, he has drawn inspiration for his own novel from the movies, television shows, and books that have entertained him since he was a small child in the 80’s. Although he has only written two books so far, he has been writing song lyrics, short stories, and poetry since he was fifteen. In 2015, he left his career in construction after thirteen years to become a special education aid. While working closely with the students at his school, his love for writing was renewed and led to him writing his first novel The Cursed: Blood Oath, which is the first book in a three book series that was followed by The Cursed: Blood Born two years later. When he’s not writing or working with his students, he spends as much time as he can with his family. As huge fans of Star Wars, and many other fandoms, they enjoy going to cons together all over California. As a reader he has loved the work of Christopher Pike, Drew Karpyshan, Ernest Kline, JRR Tolkien, Christopher Paolini, Claudia Grey, Lee Child, and Timothy Zhan.
