Just when Duncan, Kacey, and Sebastian think they’re in the clear, a new horror strikes at the heart of their lives. Harper isn’t in the custody of Unit Zero, and now Duncan’s missing from his house. Kacey remains, apparently no longer the victim of choice for the Silver Blood vampire clan.

Sebastian is twisted in ways he never imagined as he has to deal not only with his confusing emotions, but his need to protect those he loves. Feeling out of control, he relies on Amya and the others in Unit Zero to keep him grounded. The question is whether or not they’ll save Duncan in time.
